International Womens Day

The Women in Photography exhibition is now open at The Glasgow Gallery of Photography. There will be a special opening event held on Saturday, March 8th, which also happens to be International Women's Day. I would be absolutely delighted to see you there! The exhibition will continue to run until April 2nd, providing ample opportunity for visitors to explore the remarkable works on display. This exhibition showcases stunning images from talented women photographers hailing from all corners of the globe, including myself—I reside just about three miles away from the gallery! This marks my fifth time exhibiting at this esteemed gallery since last March; notably, my very first experience was in last year's Women in Photography exhibition. The image featured above was captured on a beautifully misty morning a few years ago, in close proximity to my home. The atmospheric conditions were simply perfect, so much so that I found myself inspired to take around 100 images that enchanting morning. Mist and fog are undeniably fascinating elements; they transform ordinary and familiar sights into something remarkably magical and ethereal. These enchanting conditions frequently appear in the majority of my photographic images. Some images from that morning are below
